Invited speech: Animal Models of Transcranial Brain Stimulation-Methods and Mechanisms by Dr. Tsung-Hsun Hsieh

February 17, 2019

We are honored to have Dr. Hsieh today for a special talk on his career and research. Dr. Hsieh is a physiotherapist and has completed his PhD in biomedical engineering in National Cheng Kung University. As a physiotherapist with biomedical engineering expertise, he well combined clinical treatment and neurophysiological mechanisms together in his research.

Today, he shared his recent research on brain stimulation using animal models. He has covered a wide range of pathologies, including Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and etc. Dr. Hsieh related his work to the research topics of our lab, taking us from bench to bed, and kindly shared many ideas.  We also enjoyed his stories and experience from working with different professions. Thank you Dr. Hsieh!
