In the first day of the new semester, we had an orientation especially for our new coming members! Our professors introduced our research interests and prospects. We wish to stay open and creative for research ideas and we expect our students to be not only independent as a researcher but also work as a team to become a better one!

"Beta event-related desynchronization can be enhanced by different training programs and is correlated with improved postural control in individuals with Parkinson’s disease" by Fang-Yu Cheng, Yea-Ru Yang, Yih-Ru Wu, Shih-Jung Cheng, and Ray-Yau Wang was accepted by IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering, 2018. We take part in 51th Anniversary and Research Expo of Cheng Hsin General Hospital!

51th Anniversary and Research Expo of Cheng Hsin General Hospital (CHGH) takes place in 2018/08/28 - 2018/09/10. With the funding of CHGH this year, our phD student Pei-Hsin Ku, mentored by Prof. Wang, is able to finish her work in "The effects of Ai Chi on balance and gait performance in individuals with chronic stroke." We also appreciate the assistance from Dr. Ta-Chang Lai and Dr. Szu-Fu Chen in CHGH. The poster will be exhibited in 1F hall of CHGH.

Our phD student Hsin-Hsuan Liu participated the 23rd International Association of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders (IAPRD), 2018 in Lyon, France. Her topic for poster presentation is "Effect of Tai Chi exercise to reduce falls and improve balance performance in Parkinson's disease: A meta-analysis." This study is completed in collaboration with Nai-Chen Yeh, our MS student, and mentored by Prof. Fang-Yu Cheng, Ray-Yau Wang, and Yea-Ru Yang.
