"Effects of Strength Exercises Combined with Other Training on Physical Performance in Frail Older Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis" by PhD student Wei-Han Weng, MS graduate Yun-Hui Cheng and our two professors, in collaboration with Prof. Shwn-Jen Lee from our department, was accepted by Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics and was published in May 2022.

The article published on Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience by Prof. Wang was selected as important publications of the year in National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Congratulation!

Yun-Hsian Liu, mentored by Prof. Wang, defended her thesis titled "Effects of combining cognitive and treadmill training on cognitive function and walking performance -- exploration in chronic stroke patient with cognitive impairment" on Apr. 7th, 2022.

"Effects of different dual task training on dual task walking and responding brain activation in older adults with mild cognitive impairment" by MS graduates Hsiang-Tsen Kuo, Wen-Chi Hsu, research assistant Nai-Chen Yeh and our two professors, in collaboration with Prof. Ying-Yi Liao from National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, was accepted by Scientific Reports and was published in May 2022.

Prof. Wang received the 16th "Huang Li-Li Award" at the 2022 Aunnual meeting of Taiwan Physical Therapy Association. The award is given based on great contribution in physical therapy education, social impact, and the achievement of her work. Congratulations!

"Comparing different montages of transcranial direct current stimulation on dual-task walking and cortical activity in chronic stroke: Double-blinded randomized controlled trial" by PhD student Pei-Ling Weng and our two professors, in collaboration with Dr. Shih-Fong Huang and Shun-Chang Tang from Taipei Veterans General Hospital, was accepted by BMC Neurology and was published in Mar. 2022.

"Adjunct Non-elastic Hip Taping Improves Gait Stability in Cane-assisted Individuals with Chronic Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Trial" by MS graduate Chieh-Yu Lin, Jyue-Liang Chen and our two professors, in collaboration with Chun-Shou Lee and Yun-Ju Chen from Taipei City Hospital, was accepted by Journal of Clinical Medicine and was published in Mar. 2022.

"Commentary on clinical performance evaluation for students in Doctor of Physical Therapy education program (臺灣六年制物理治療教育臨床表現評量指標初探)" by PhD students Pei-Hsin Ku, Pei-Ling Weng, Hsin-Hsuan Liu, research assistant Nai-Chen Yeh, our two professors and Prof. Hong-Ji Luo in our department was accepted by Formosa n Journal of Physical Therapy and will be published soon.

"Multi-area brain activation and gait deterioration during a cognitive and motor dual task in individuals with Parkinson's disease" by PhD graduate Yen-Ci Liu (currently assistant professor in School and Graduate Institute of Physical Therapy, National Taiwan University), PhD student Pei-Ling Weng and our two professors, in collaboration with Prof. Chia-Feng Lu from Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences, was accepted by Frontiers Aging Neuroscience and was published in Apr. 2022.

"Effects of sustained hyperbaric oxygen intervention on neurogenesis and cell migration in transient brain ischemic rats" by PhD graduate Heng-Chih Chang (currently assistant professor in Department of Physical Therapy, Asia University) and our two professors was accepted by International Journal of Molecular Sciences and was published in Feb. 2022.

"Effects of Inclined Treadmill Training on Inadequate Ankle Control During Walking in Individuals after Stroke: A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial" by MS students Ju-Yu Cheng, Nai-Chen Yeh, and our two professors, in collaboration with Hsin Cho, Vinchi Wang and Jui-Chang Li from Cardinal Tien Hospital, was accepted by NeuroRehabilitation and was published in Mar. 2022.

"Transcranial direct current stimulation on different targets to modulate cortical activity and dual task walking in individuals with Parkinson’s disease – A double blinded randomized controlled trial" by PhD student Pei-Ling Weng and our two professors, in collaboration with Shih-Fong Huang, Jong-Ling Fuh and Han-Lin Chiang, was accepted by Frontiers Aging Neuroscience and was published in Jan. 2022.
